Each year St Albans Civic Society celebrates imaginative development and design initiatives which have been completed within the city in the previous year. These awards cover projects completed in 2017.

Lime Interiors won the 2017 award for the restoration of The Crow, Fishpool Street. This fine, late 16th century former coaching inn, has seen many changes in its lifetime and has withstood considerable deterioration to the external and internal fabric of the building. It has now been renovated and converted to create two houses and two apartments. A worthy exemplar for those restoring historic buildings and adapting them for modern use.
